Our journey is rooted in a passion for food production, engineering, and the science that seamlessly merges the two. KYA’s story begins in the province of Limpopo, South Africa. A province where agriculture still forms the backbone of how families directly and indirectly put food on the table. Growing up where producing your own food was a natural way of ‘breaking bread’ inspired the spirit behind KYA.
